MATCH / TMF
On MATCH, or not sure? Start by separating the facts from the assumptions.
MATCH information can affect merchant-account underwriting, but a previous termination does not automatically mean a merchant is on MATCH. The reason, record, and circumstances matter.
What we can review
Known MATCH history and suspected MATCH history are not the same thing.
If you know you have MATCH/TMF history, tell us what you were told and what happened with the prior processor. If you are only concerned because an account was terminated, do not assume a listing exists.
Initial review focuses on:
- What happened with the previous processor
- Whether MATCH / TMF status is known or only suspected
- The business model and website
- Current or expected processing volume
- Whether a specialized review appears viable
What we do not claim
No MATCH shortcuts or approval promises.
No guaranteed MATCH approval
Formal underwriting determines whether an account can be offered.
No guaranteed removal
We do not represent that we can remove a merchant from MATCH.
No hidden history
Previous processing history should be addressed accurately during underwriting.
No “everyone accepted” claim
Some cases may not be suitable for placement.
